Olympique Lyonnais has been acquired by its current president, Michele Kang. The American has reached an agreement with Eagle Bidco to purchase 87.8% of the capital of Eagle Football Group SA, the parent company of OL.

What happened?

Michele Kang, 67, took over as president of OL in June 2025 following the resignation of John Textor. She will still have to go before the Direction Nationale du Contrôle de Gestion (DNCG) in the coming days.
